However, you can identify quality structure right away: if the door bends when pushed to opposite corners, avoid it.
The peripheral frame provides the door with a shape and creates its framework. Always ask for a frame of solid wood - hinges fitted in chipboard or other substitutes become loose over time and the door might even tear off.
The filling is material which fills the frame - insulates and makes the door solid. Honeycomb (paper filling) is suitable for a minimally used door only. It does not dampen noise and can be easily destroyed. In the case of regular doors always ask for a decent filling made of DTD board.
We will make a door for you with any filling - the choice is up to you. However, in this case money saving is not worthwhile.
The full chipboard is strong and stable and guarantees resistance to perforation. It is mainly used in special doors.

It is made of the specially hardened paper folded in the hexagonal shape of bee honeycombs. It is used in less stressed doors or transitional fillings of door openings.

In general, we do not recommend the doors with honeycomb but if you decide on them, then it is suitable to use them for a chamber or closet, it means a space which you do not open so often and there is no risk of busting or kicking a hole in the door. These doors cannot be used in bathrooms, cold chambers or as entrance doors in any case.
